About Markita

The Baton Rouge metropolitan area is a great place to live and work, which is why Markita chose to call it home. With roots in Many, Louisiana, Markita came to Baton Rouge in August of 2002. She graduated from Southern University with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and she also has a Master’s in Business Administration from Texas A&M University. Markita has had a very fulfilling career with the State of Louisiana and credits it for her keen ability to provide great customer service and her enthusiasm for helping others.

Real estate has always been a passion for Markita and she honestly believes your home is your safe haven. In 2009, she caught the first glimpse of what would be her future career. As Markita started the journey to homeownership, she realized she did not know anything at all! She could only hope and pray she would become a homeowner. Although Markita was worried, it was her Realtor, who brought a sense of calmness and guided her through the whole process effortlessly. The whole experience stuck with Markita for several years and is the reason she decided to pay it forward. Keeping all of this in mind, her goal is to help her clients travel down the often-challenging pathways of the home buying and selling process with ease. As a wife, mother and homeowner, Markita understands your home should be more than just a place to live – it’s where you will make long-lasting memories.
